As part of the 100th anniversary Scouts have the opportunity to earn four merit badges (Carpentry, Pathfinding, Signaling, and Tracking) that were some of the earliest ones offered, but were discontinued over the years. This opportunity is only available this calendar year.
We are working to provide the opportunity to earn the other merit badges before the end of the year. Information for these can be found at meritbadge.org.

Pathfinding Merit Badge
Many of our Scouts have already earned the Pathfinding merit badge. If you were not at that meeting, and would like to earn it, please contact Mr. Jarosz.

Carpentry Merit Badge
At the Court of honor on June 7th, there will be a sign up sheet for Scouts interested in obtaining the limited Carpentry Merit Badge, as well as parents who would be willing to lend a hand with the Tasks involved. (no prior experience necessary)
This program will be two separate afternoons (to be determined) during the summer, including a carpentry-related project that will aid the Charter Organization.
If you have questions (or are unable to attend the Court of Honor to sign up) please call Jeff Wiertalla (313) 724-0116.

Signaling Merit Badge
We are working to plan something for this in the Fall. If you are interested in helping, please contact Mr. Jarosz.
